How much dex for capped casting speed?

No, spells are capped at 40% of delve.

390 easily does it.

Cast time doesnt matter as reduction in cast speed is a multipier capped at max(0.4,x), so if you hit the magic dex that gives 0.4 all your spells will cap.

If you want a more detailed answer than 390, go read other posts on the same subject. I have never seen any evidence for >390 doing anything appreciable in any tests that are remotely scientific, and you wont find any on these boards.

as noted before, 40% is the cap. abit above 400 dex makes you reach that cap. I know there is a difference between 403 dex and 417 dex, think it caps just over 417..

ppl say the magic number is 386dex but im 386 on cabby with dex2 and when i had dex3 i'm sure i casted (very slightly) faster. will be going back to dex3 soon.

Pff, starting point respec? I need a racial respec on my BB so he doesnt take 2hours to cast a few buffs, besides, I need to respec my main from a fish to a saracen for the über cast speed of dh00m without having to spend 2000000000000 points into aug dex.
