Only time any spell sets off the aoe is when a person casts it away from the person they are being protected by. Heal chant doesn't set of the aoe and fire damage doesn't heal the dragon. Procs don't cause the aoe. Only peoples messups cause the glare aoe. The other aoe is at 90% 75% 40% adn 20% and at these points you just need to scatter.
