I grew up with transformers, dj cat, inspector gadget, wrestling, zig&zag and every other PROPER child growing show :p

"ONE crappy show a ha ha! TWO crappy shows a ha ha!"

or...

"You've failed me for the last time Starscream!"

I know what my kid would watch :flame:

I'm trying to say i'm indifferent of it, but i'd prefer Optimus vs Megatron battles(original) any day over it :p

I couldn't even read or write, a finnish kid, and i asked my mom what a spacestation is. Nothing special there, if i didn't say spacestation in english :D

I agree transformers is awesome (the old cartoons, not the new movies) but sesame street is also essential..

I was never allowed to watch Sesame St. My parents forced me to watch strange bearded men talking about physics on Open University on BBC2

Original Tintin series from the 60's/70's made by Belvision and not the cheap shitty ones from the 90's..

Recently found them on youtube, which only took me about a year or so! Tintin in youtube = "LOOOL LOOK AT ME TINTING MY OLD SHIT CAR"

I liked the old sesame street :D Especially the "one of these kids is doing his own thing, one of these kids is not like the others..." bits.

Preferred the insanity of the Banana Splits though:

I don't know about finland. But at least in Sweden Sesame Street wasn't very big. I saw pretty much the shows Toht saw, maybe once in a while Sesame Street but it didn't air very often or at good times (I think? maybe I'm just to young?)

Seen 3 generations of kids - my childhood included grow up with Sesame street. It's longevity in itself deserves an award, as does the spirit of the program. I thought it to be a tad weird when i was a kid till they started the muppet show. It deserves more renown than it currently has :)

I'm probably younger than you and sesame street was always on here when I was young
