Welcome to you. I've been looking through my extensive collection of pictures and I've put together a little quiz for you all.

How many of these childrens TV programs o you remember? Apart from making me vomit every 3 seconds, these bring back many happy memories of running home from school, swiching on the TV and seeing Andy Peters and his crazy puppets in the BBC broom cupboard.

Marshall Bravestar had a horse called 20-20, who if I correctly remember had a large gun he called 'Sarah-jayne'

And I think it was
Speed of the Puma,
Strength of the Bear,
Eyes of the Hawk,
And buggered if I can remember the last one, but think it was summat to do with 'of the Wolf'

Bah

I watched the tellytubbies the other week when I was off work. (It was either that or chat shows about cheating american men and their wives that where 'all that')

What a complete sack of crap that program was. All flowers, counting and learning to read. What use is that these days to kids?

We had stuff with guns and giant metal warrior cyborgs who carried magic swords. Proper bad guys with stupid side kicks who always cocked things up and helicopters that exploded on a regular basis. (Don't worry, they always show the pilot climbing out of the reckage afterwards or parachuting down)

In Homer Simpsons Immortal words.... "When did we stop rooting for the guy with the flame thrower?"

(Sorry, just a little rant)

Um.... Gordon the Gopher

Nearly.. Philip Schofield had Gordon... didnt Andy have Ed the Duck?........

Hong Kong Phooey
Bowzer (I think)
Pigeon Street

It wasnt Bowser, it was Jamie and the Magic Torch..... with Wordsworth, the talking dog :)

For all of you that love to remember all this stuff try this site:

http://www.yesterdayland.com/popopedia/shows/decades/saturday_1980s.php

Its American based, but most of the decent cartoons are on there

ok, almost every thread here ends in sfx and fafnir / gungnor (whatever his name is :p) posting one word msgs to each other.

there isnt even an attempt at covering up the spammage with a couple of sentences.

see what happens to my court when i engage in this social interaction business?

damn the missus. damn her and her 'get off that machine for one day, im taking the day off, we can go and visit people and party like drunken yobbos'

*grumbles*
