imo looks like mythic looking out for some easy way to balance things, but in the end they are kinda lost in space.
What makes this game better than some others is RvR. What makes RvR more fun is the unique Ra's/styles/spells of each realm. All realm had a "tool" against others, like baod/sos/bof/gp etc. Also all realms had different armour parts/weapons jewels, wich is a very nice thing. and mythic is about to take that away.

After TOA and even worst after Frontiers all realms have the same things.
Mids with 3x Bof and sos? hmmm
And where is the fun to see not only your realm mates to have the same items but also the other two realms characters wearing the same items?


The game is screwed up.


imo givf DAOC 30 patches back ! even the patch before SC not to say the patch before RA's.

many ppl still playing because atm there's nothing better of this category to play. Dunno what will happen when WoW is out and if it provides a nice RvR system or even a good PvP only system. I guess daoc will die max in a week after wow release date.

One BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG problem with ra changes, you know what it is?it effects albs and hib A LOT, no i do not mean them having much chance vs mids, but something else.Put it this way 50% of classes still will not get groups between hib/alb...if i explain why it will take a lot of typing so i can't be bothered, but these ra changes are really going to ruin daoc, except if you are a mid, your realm becomes ultra easy.

Why Ara?? Are you afraid of actually having to work for your kills.. Vanish was a RA intended to make assassin escape after a attack.. its been used as a ohh i might loose this must vanish + pa... And if the hunter RA ts is even close to the old see hidden ability i just tell you i got some scores to settle.. fecking old see hidden made me sell my lovely hunter..

I pretty much feel like quitting now, ToA started out as a unique, enjoyable experience but then it hit me. Artifacts while nice in there own way have all but completly destroyed the game for anyone that doesnt play 10+ hours a day.

After spending close to 2 weeks leveling 2 artifacts for my SB, i then realised i still had 2 more to go, and i really cant be assed to spend the next 30+ hours leveling them.

Leveling most artifacts would be like leveling a new char from 20-50 its that slow.

Mythic made the wrong choice. Instead of opening up end game RvR to more people, they have done the exact opposite and made it farm less in-excessible to the casual gamer :/

When WoW or anything else remotely as good as DAoC comes out, i`ll be gone faster than you can say supercallafragalisticexpealladocious.

I like some of the RA´s and some not. I think they have alot of work to do but atleast they are trying now.

I don´t like AM on speed classes though. think it should be moved to secondary healers so that friars can be brought out to RvR. I played a friar couple of months ago, tried out a friends char and it was almost impossible to get a grp. They really need some RvR loving

If you have the TG jerkin I have a template using shades and malice as artifacts only. With free use of any mainhand weapon you want.
At first I had 5 artifacts in my template. After leveling shades (which is a fast leveling artifact) i noticed I never would have leveled all of those. Require some hard to get items but not impossible

old school fotm mid setup was taking like 2 fg alb
mythic dev said savage were hybrid and light tank at same time and made some mistake while warden were considered to be support class and hybrid aswell they are making so many mistake they dont even know what ill happen with those ras wonder if any dev ever tried to play the game in rvr lol..

I was gonna quit myself when ToA came I said. but I didnt. I kinda liked the new graphical engine. Im dissing out the ToA parts totally tho and do what ive always liked past year. RvR if possible. and theres still rps out there.
