How long should it take to get to "endgame level" in terms of hours played?

I agree with Golena, the best would be to leave the player the opportunity where and how to level, from level 1-50 in good BGs with lots of population would be really awesome for me as I see PvE only a needed thing for RvR.

its just that DAOC leveling to 50 is so damn boring.
I leveled 22 toons to 50 verying from 50 days /played @ 50 to 22 hours.
I enjoyed my first character (25 days /played) the most since that was how it should be done. Grouped with people your own level.

WoW is way more fun to level up in. Only retarded thing is that it is actally better to solo for leveling up while endgame requires teamwork with 39 other people...

Getting to endgame should be an acomplishment. So 25 days played minimum. More important then how much time you need to spend is HOW you spend them. Grouped with others, on skype or ventrilo is deffo the most fun

End game for me has always been lvl 50 rr5. After you hit rr5 your character can use all armour and weapons to the full potential. even if your ml10 cl5 you dont utilise weapons and armour complelty.
