How long does it take for 5 hibs to finish off a bd?

The SM that was with me - died fast prob, dunno where he went I assumed i was dead and looked away. Looked back after a few secs to find that i was still alive but my pets were dead. After this, surrounded by 2 tanks with 2 druids assisting them the pbae managed to get wasted twice with lifetap, carried on onto their bard who was down very low for a good while there, eventually my mana ran out which lead to some stickfighting for a short while before the ubertanks managed to waste me.

You were prob the most fun I had in a good while in thid, me and my 18 instataps /salute you. :worthy:

Didn't say I had mate, was my 2nd run with a bd in the bg. Point was that even though they had 2 tanks and 2 druids they allowed me to live for a minute killing their caster twice

No Okko let me solo him with my gimp mana enchanter, send my snare nuking pet on the bd, qc stun and 2 dd's will prob. finish him off before the pets even come close. Otherwise I'll just roll a light one and it will make it a lot easier. By the way, if I have my ally pet up a bd can't kill me as my pet will heal me for more than the bd's insta's hitting for

But even a crappy BD kicks melee classes right in the nuts in close combat where tanks should have the advantage.

I'm guessing those melee classes were stupid enough to go for the BD directly, best way to kill a BD (imo) land 1 hit on the healer pet (should be a good ammount of dmg considering its green at best, but thats not really important. In the chain of things Healer pets will heal themselves to full before anything else) then own the conny and finally work on the BD, if your quick enough it is possible (done it myself a few times)

I'm not saying it isn't difficult, all i'm saying is that they arn't as god-like as some people would want you to believe, and really. I can understand if 1, maybe 2 people get owned by a BD if he's playing well (and most BD's do tend to use more than '4secLTspamfortehwin' ) but if 3+ people can't take him then you'll have to forgive me if I call them freakin' idiots
