Then all the forum posters will leap up and down yelling, omg mods lock every post.. it's killing the forum ffs..
A thread that despite the thread starter actually making a valid point, that there's currently a rather large "bug/feature" that's very annoying for lots of people, has descended into tired used insults from the same small group of people without even making it past the first page..
Yet people will still yell, omg the mods on this forum are evil dictators compared to this other forum I go on!!

Hey hey this thread is about a caster that can nuke through the wall on the bridges, that aint funny...dont mind if they try to kill me coz thats the enemies job, but if the bainshe can nuke through the wall so should all other casters, rangers, hunters and scouts. Dont u think? And they only need to target one to hit a fg? 5-6++bolts? or something (dont know how many bolts but correct me if I am wrong).

to cast the ae-bolt, you need a valid target. and like with any other ae, you will hit other stuff too out of YOUR LoS if they are within radius.
technically ae spells seems to work according what i call grenade principal.
you can throw one through a small window on top op someones head and you will hit everyone in the same room as your target, even if you don`t have LoS on the rest of the people who get hit in the AE, as long as the target of the spell has LoS on YOU, you get damaged.
you need a valid target for this.
CAOE works like a flamethrower.
you just spray the stuff around in the direction you face. no need for target.
pbaoe works like a grenade you drop out of your hand.
pbaoe hits everything around you. no need for target.

With last patch, a lot of walls have become insubstantial. they perfectly block LoS but they don`t stop AE-effects.

LoS is majorly fucked, since this patch you can hit a lot more stuff than usual with pbaoe (and hence, CAOE), believe me.
