How is YOUR guild preparing for clustering?

The world is changing: We feel it in the water, we feel it in the earth, we smell it in the air. Clustering is coming, we're already starting to see posters stray over to the other server boards to check out the opposition and get a sense of the RvR atmosphere. For myself, I predict that clustering will be the biggest clash of egoes seen ever since the dawn of time. :D The Excal/Pryd cluster will quite possibly become one of the most competitive ones in Europe, if not the world.

The question is, how is your guild preparing for the cluster?

(The corresponding post on the Prydwen RvR boards can be found here.)

hib is mainly randomgroups and doubt there will be any change, unless people come back and get active or a new setgroup forms slowly :)

Getting to know your new enemies. See them in movies: observe what their setup is. See who their MA is, look which of the support is shearing and who is healing, etc. etc. And, with the introduction of the new DET, which will be there when clustering goes live, go over your groupsetup again to see whether it's DET-proof and whether it will work vs. new setups that your new 'enemies' use.

Rerolling on a new realm, which many groups are doing atm, can be considered preparing as well I guess :D

Hib/Prydwen, on the other hand, seems to be crawling with guild groups. Maybe the joint Hib RvR community will stabilize a bit when clustering comes. :)

i just hope we can convince _ALL_ guilds to not add on 3way fights, both excal and pryd, if not it will all be a big zergfest.

Mostly what preparing for cluster means is that we're doing a bunch of pve on prydwen. We have lvled something like 4 animists there (+ the ones we already had) in order to be able to kill what we need by ourselves :) 2-3 ppl didn't already have chars on prydwen, some (like myself) had chars and decent toa-templates, but no mls. So essentially what preparing for cluster means is alot of nice and grindy pve ;)

Oh nonono, this wasn't in reference to myself. I'm busy studying for exams!
But this was my idea of how NP would be preparing for clustering, mind the part that I quoted.
