How Hibs avoid the Emain zerg...

Kinda funny this...have seen a lot of complaint threads from Hibs about the zergs in Emain and their non-participation in them etc. blablabla...turns out they create their own zerg and go to Odin's instead. Been a couple of times in a row now, first you kill a bunch of Hibs and within 10 minutes there's enough of em to grab a relic (lil exaggerated there I admired your noble action of refusing to participate in Emain zergs, but this isn't a solution to it I'm afraid

it started out as under 2fg on a guild raid and we got killed by mids... we got more because you did so shh and i dont call 40 (i think it reached that at one point) is anymore near relic raiding force

GoS was going to Fensalir for a guild trip and SP went to Arvakr for a guild trip. we stormed the hmg together and apparently, you snowlickers freaked, Mids crawling all over the frontier

OMG Eynar this must be the funniest thing I have ever read. So Hibs go to midgard frontier, find out that every fucking keep is manned by at least 2fg mids and then get together just to be killed repeatedly (yeah we were stupid there, but emain was empty and nowhere else to go) by 50 mids at hmg - and then WE are accused of zerging?

Nothing but LOL for that.

Hibs suck they have all the best classes because of loving from Mystic like heros are WAYY better than armsman or warriors even after 1.53. Moosemode is like 50% instaheal its stupid and champions are like the best hybrid in the game by miles now and why do Hib casters have like 9s stunn in BASELINE that is way overpowere. I think Mystic all play Hib now..

did anyone tell u that fgs means "full groups" and not "fellows going suicide" ???

Hib Zergs are 2 FG Hibs to many of you! (4 FG is our usual Relic Raid strength!!)

To us a Zerg is when we are outnumbered 3:1, irrespective of numbers - This usually happens on days that end in "ay"

We have 'tried' to take RvR to Mid and Alb frontiers with mixed success.

Either we end up taking an abandoned keep (at least Merchant Keeps allow crafting whilst waiting), or else the Zerg just follows us (eventaully) - so 'tis hard to get away from it.

We also tried repeatedly to get past the Odins HMG on Wed evening - but it was campers hell there. Even twin sync'd PBT wasn't keeping those Hunter's arrows out for more than 3 seconds.

This week I have noticed Albs spreading out in Emain more - which makes for much more interesting tactical RvR than head-on, but sadly, the crowds are always drawn to the AMG which is where most carnage occurs.

You'd think they'd setup a McDonalds or Kebab van there to keep us going...

First of all, I'm not accusing anyone of zerging, this thread was started as a reply to the tons of posts of Hibs complaining about zergs posted on these boards over the last weeks.

Apart from that, I wonder if you could show me those keeps manned by at least 2fg of Mids, cuz whenever I enter one I rarely ever see something else but guards.

I bet they're from the same guild as the 50 Mids at HMG which are never there?

Oh, wait a minute, they must be all stealthers i guess...

ehhm Eynar, I think he ment all the logged alts in the keeps you mids have.

And regarding the 50 mids, well maybe not 50, but there sure was a lot of mids that night in odins when 4fg or more of hibs tried to pass the Hmg. Nasty tactics with spammin aoemezz on the doors there We did our best and still didnt get through at all, /clap at the well done defense.

offtopic: Regarding earlier complaints on that mids lack CC, mids really shoudnt complain about the lack of CC, i have seen so bloody many healers, and been stunned to oblivion lately that I just wanna cry, you _always_ have healers with you when you come with full groups, which you tend do to 99% of the time.

Zergs are shait for hibs due to several reasons, we lack CC since few bards play, we lack the population of active players, sure we have some 50's but i rarely see many of them in RvR, I still havent been in a group with only lvl50's as a hib. Mids have loads of 50's that RvR and a good population. Albs have loads of active 50's and a good population. It aint too fun to get 2 good groups going and head emain and be wiped over and over again you know. And we mostly dont loose due to bad playing, we are severely outnumbered whereever we go these days. It kinda sucks really, of course we moan about it, seriosly, what else can we do? RvR is really bad now on prydwen in my opinion if you are a hib.

Loosen up some mids and albs, move in smaller forces and we will come fight you guys more, its the only way you will see more hibs in RvR. (which after all would mean more fun for everyone right? imo daoc isnt all about owning the other realm, I appreciate good fights most but mids and albs just cant face 50/50 odds at all to make it more interesting, I guess you just cant take a loss)

No, I dont mean alts in keeps, in mean that every damn keep we passed was defended to teeth, we even died on one, and GoS grps died in completely different one across frontier, who was defended too. And no, it was not bledmeer, it was two of the inner keeps.

Thats it, im not going in lame zerg discussion, just wanted to point out that if hib zerg was stopped effortlesly by mids 3 times in a row, there was quite some mids out there too, now wasnt there?

shike a couple of weeks ago we ran in max 2fgs ( mostly 1fg )
wiped the inc hibs ( 1fg or more ) and what happend ?
Hibs buggerd off, we do try to fight in small groups, but once hibs gets spanked afew times ( even numbers or lessnumbers ) they buggerd off to zerg legion or thid.

oh and if you dont want zergs dont camp the fuggin mg's.

Albs camp mg's too, I do too ( lack of targets elsewhere ), and I get zerged eventually.

best classes my ASS, there is no such thing, peeps just need alittle work if thats what is thought. as for the melee... root em and the caster giving peeps greif... tell the stealther go get there fingers outo there asses and get to the job at hand. When a group of Albs (1fg) held the pit in DF against nearly 20 mids your telling me that the hibs are overpowered...

Freia yes, you guys did really marvelous job yesterday, it made me wanna quit several times. I was trying really damn hard, whole damn hibernia knew there was 2fg+ mids out there and yet they kept running around in small grps. I really wanted to pull my hair out .

And then finally I manage to assemble a nice hib force at Ligen (that was after a battle at fomo camp, where my group charged your back and killed lots of casters ) and you guys wanish in thing air.

Heh, must have been the time when i sprinted away from 2 tanks with big hammers. They caught up, 30% hp. I thought all was over. Turned back. And there comes my guardian angel in the shape of the cutest little d0rf runemaster in history (Thina ) She roots both tanks and proceeds to nuke them to hell with a little stunning from me. I had lots of ressing to do after that fight anyways . And that was the time when we decided it was time to pull back a little, so we went and died to an albzerg at MMG

Oh well, anyway, was really nice display of guild teamwork, /salute.

No, dont feel bad Freia, mostly hibs made me wanna /cry because they all knew 2 very well balanced and trained groups of mids were out there and still they all went like "ooooh mids on our doorstep, lets take a closer look" and trickled out in small groups for you to kill. Had a hardest time convincing hibs to actually wait at ligen and get organized a bit

On the evening before, after killing me solo and res sick 5 or so times earlier, GOS (18 ppl) on a training run bumped into them, we narrowly lost first fight , but killed them all whilst res sick straight after. You were hanging around allinne, you may have added to the final foray.
