Well... I ain't trying to excuse them but they already do have to learn 50 states by heart and to be honest I don't know if I can point out 50 countries without thinking. especially the eastern part of europe I ain't got a clue about...

Theres a difference between saying America and meaning USA and saying Europe and meaning Poland or something.

America = Whole shibang.
States/US/USA/Crapbucket(had to) = United States
North america = the north part with canada included
South america = the south part with guns included

That's how i call them, unless i mean a spesific city, state and/or place.

Now bring me an american who can name the different parts of scandinavia and we'll call it even.
