How do you make your plats?

So if u just have some some average class IE hero what is the best way to make cash except the old-fashioned df/cm camping?

Always good money maker and its fun.

Farming cash my culling mobs is boring and inefficient.

TBH u missed the opportunity now but when TOA comes there will be plently of people wanting to come farm.

On a side note, perhaps try hunting remains.

Things like Furor and Tiarmar can fetch good sums and are soloable (tiamar lvl 61 but doable with buffs and RA's up)

I learnt long ago that all good cash in mmrpgs is made from players. Take a look at whats needed in the realm, whether its ws bracers, galla drops, stag cloaks, quest items, go farm them and sell to players. Alternativly work out what the 'market' is for these items, buy low, sell high

i used to borrow a buffbot that still needed exp and farmed galla as melee (blunt bm back then)

made quite alot like that, tho i salvaged it myself

make a char that can be a tailor and get 800 tailoring and then level up metalworking to 800 and bam, salvagebot

thats right.

The first few plat you get you should pile into tailoring and raise metal working to 800. From then on you can spend time farming DF or various other items for anything that can be salvaged. a Tank + Druid combo can farm upwards of 1p an hour in DF just from diamond seals. There are very few places in the realm that come close to ammount of $$$$ an hour.

If you decide at a later date to raise Tailoring to 1100. You can also make some.. not loads of money from selling crafted cloth/leather armour.

and i still need 750 gold for some stupid ablatives

seals are my only form of income

This is the 3rd age of Daoc .... The easiest way to make LOATS of plats? hehe.... very simple....

Look what ur Realm needs more.... In this 3rd age imo the most rare thing is to find a SCer.... so... thats the key to be rich nowadays

Ofc u need some funidng... but compare to ur proffit.... i think its worth it

what i do is buy seals and salvage em, thats a nice source of income, also when there's no seals to buy i get my buffbot and my hero and go farm diamonds in DF, thats nice money aswell, as long as you dont get killed

No seriously, I do DS groups when I can. Diamond seals are a great source of income. You can get them solo with a hero (get buffs at a BB near entrance), but it gets really good when u set up ur own group (thats right, make an effort and send loads of people) and do umbrals or something.

getting a good group that stays for a few hours is tough yes, but even if its only for an hour you still got quite a bunch of seals.

Trust me im the first to form a GG or normal group when we get df jsut that we only get it once in a green moon.
