How do you like to live life? Slow and lazy or fast and constant

Something I was thinking about today. In year 11 I lived the slow and lazy life, where I came home, did fuck all, went to sleep, did school, came home etc.

Now i'm in year 12 I have one day a week where I do not have an activity or the such after-school and my weekends are filled with work, homework and the other half.

And it feels great. It's kept me more organized, gotten me a bit fitter and generally makes me feel like I'm utilizing my time more. I think it has also helped my confidence in talking to others as I'm out in the world more.

How about you? Do you like slow days filled with sweet fuck all but FH and a glass of shandy :d or fast and constant event-packed days with little room to relax?

Yeah, neither of those choices appeal to me really.

Even if i spend the whole day at the computer, it's still not "f*ck all". Probably get more done then any computer working person in a 9-5 job :D

How do I like to live my life? Fast and constant without a doubt.

Being bored is the enemy for me. I'd rather dig a hole in the ground just to fill it back up again than be bored any day of the week.

When I used to stay at my Dads life was like that all the time - I'd be on the go all day every day, if it wasnt odd jobs around the house, it was work, or shopping, or going out for a meal, going out for a walk, going to the pub etc. Even if it wasnt groundbreaking, we'd be doing something, as opposed to nothing. At home I tend to get into a routine that gets really dull really fast. I try to break up the routine by doing interesting things, preferably things that I havent done before, or would normally be afraid or too lazy to do normally.

I tend to divide my life up into periods of time that span one really interesting thing happening to the next - for me the last 'big thing' was being on holiday not last week but the week before, staying up untill 4am partying, great fun :D the next 'big thing' before that was two/three weeks before when I drove down to milton keynes, around 80-90 miles over unknown terroritory, the first time I'd done a journey like that since starting driving, so it felt like an achievement. Before that it would be the weekend with the para's, etc etc etc.

I hate the 'normal' days, where I get up, go to work, go to the gym, spend the night on the pc or at the pub. I love it when I'm doing something different, whether thats driving further than I've ever been before, going to a big party, or whatever, it just seems like I'm more alive when I'm doing something like that than when I'm sat infront of my PC thinking about it.

I don't think I can answer the question. Doesn't really make sense from my perspective. Doesn't really apply. I've got responsibilities (wife, kid), work, got my own house, gotta pay the bills, and so on. I don't look at life as "oh how shall I live it, fast or slow" - its meaningless when you gotta work to put bread on the table and are responsible for a wife and a little boy.

i need to chillax on the student living a bit,
A) my bank balance can't handle it, especially seeing as i haven't had a student loan.
B)I personally just physically cannot handle it anymore, after like almost 2 months of solid drinking and lectures, its really starting to take its toll on me.

I enjoy life as I enjoy women: easy and drunk. (and as we all know, easy and drunk generally walk hand in hand)

On a more serious note tho, I guess I prefer a more speed up life. It makes you feel as if you're actually achieving something.

I live like it is needed for me. Sometimes I can chill and do nothing other times uni and other stuff makes me live fast.

I like slow the most though. I enjoy laying at home with nothing to do, watching the telly.

Edited for truth! ;)

I like to finish college/work. Come home have my tea and a joint and relax. Watch the soaps and stuff with the missus. Go to bed, wake up. Same routine.

Weekends on the other hand! Well... I like to get up, have a bath and a fry up. Go out and about, few pints in town then on the piss wherever we end up!

So a mix of both ;)

basically 2nd and 3rd year of uni, its a nice life as long as the money stays stable :)

gotta say I can't answer this question- whenever I find myself too busy I curse and wanna relax, and when life seems to be going slow and nothings really on the go, I moan and wish I had something productive to do!

Having said that, I don't like too much pressure forced upon me, so have to waver towards the easy/chilled side of things
