Just wondering how i make a copy of AOL 6.0 onto a CD with a 56k... I have a cd burner and all that stuff... but i dont know how..can someone tell me how?(without flamming me)

I've had so many AOL cd's in the post and in magazines i've made a special AOL cd machine gun to fire at the TV whenever Connie comes on.

The very small amount of computer knowledge i have can be summarised in this short space:

Don't spill Ribena on your keyboard.

Don't open files entitled prettypark.exe. on the university computers because they get rather annoyed at you.

AOL suck goats.

I am a reformed aol user. Times were hard, and after getting a BT phone bill for £800 (damn you ultima online!! All that money and Im still a perma newby!!!) I decided not to hand them any more money, and to turn to the dark side. This decision will always haunt me. I have now left those days behind me, but whenever I see that strange coloured woman with her patheticly "technilogical" dress I shudder. She knows where I live....

It was for a quarter. BT wrote me a wonderful letter - Out of concern for our customers, we write to warn them when their phone bill seems to be larger than usual to warn them in case they are unaware. Your average phone bill per quarter is £65. Your current phone bill for this quarter is £746, not including line rental.

Well, thank god you warned me! Phew, glad my phone bill didn't get too out of hand! Think maybe my bruv got duped on some of those porn sites that reconnect you via Istanbul or something, but still, most of that was because I didn't realise how fecking extortionate BT are during the day. And this was a while back - before flat fees. I actually wrote to them asking we didnt have flat fees like in USA and BT said they were NEVER going to introduce them. Never Ever, you evil bitching cunt bag (to paraphrase). They got rather arsey with me. And lo, behold, lookey here, now we have flat rates. So anyway, I dislike BT.

Maybe the phone bill was karma because I failed my first driving test by carving up a Bt van so badly it mounted the pavement. Who can say.

BT wanted to, but they're not allowed as the Monopolies and Mergers Commission said it would be unfair practise as other companies couldn't possibly compete.

The cunt bag bit is a little extreme, though.

lol, they said they would never ever do it because it would mean putting up the phone bills on long distance calls. That was what they said to me, so don't argue that point with me because thats the extent of my knowledge on the subject!! I think the inferrence of cunt bag came because i was a bit angry when i wrote to them, and maybe said something along the lines of the fact that they were Thatcher's Capatilist Whore Mongering Minions, Sprung From Her Barren Womb. £800 phone bill when i'd just came from USA where they pay 10c to connect in some states and that was all. Net away. It was quite a while ago, but I do remember the rudeness of their response and as a woman, I NEVER forgive.

What's with the changing avatar TDC?

The only bad thing about the vBulletin avatars is that they're stored on the server, so you can't use a php/perl script to make it change everytime it's accessed. :/
