oops... Roo...
I respect your opinion, despite disagreeing on the basics of it.
If we have members of our midgardian community who continuously and fully willingly disrupt the gamefun for others and do not care about the few common rules we all have agreed to respect and abide to it becomes a issue of public discussion.
(eg. utilizing a clearly excessively abusive language, leeching XP of groups, provoking beasts on xping groups, constantly shouting and whining around... and continuing to do so even if repeatedly being asked to stop) :wall:
Now we can take a position of saying who the heck cares, everybody can act as he wants to and let it be like this.
I disagree from this opinion as I play daoc because of the community aspects which comes with this game, like the need of grouping, the guild and alliance life and also because this is not a childish egoistic powerego mmorg but a game where a lot of "elder" ppl choose to spend their little spare time besides family and work.
I am convinced that 95+% of all midgardians see it similarly. The question is how to deal with ppl who play for the sake of disrupting gamefun for others... and here I have a clear position for myself (see my previous post). This position is hence also strongly related to my understanding of community life within this game.
and again... this is no flaming thread just a clear and personal opinion on this matter, the source being the post which Saaug raised at the occasion of Krabbens departure...
