To answer myself.

I think RvR quality has gone down the drain since cluster. It might have been few ppl out but the quality of fights were oh so much better.

I actually regret ever voting yes for cluster

PvE wise, it's great.

I think there's more pros then cons, however what does suck is: You go to the other server, log out. Forget you're there.. and goto a zone like Lyonesse orsmt, only to find out ur on the wrong server. secondly, maybe the zerging has gotten worse. Barely find solo hib/mids, always get steamrolled.

The mere fact that there are more ppl around in the frontiers makes it worth it imo.

I had little hope for Prydwen and its population but cluster made up for this.

I think the fact they brought more players to one server was a good idea. but tbh some of the attitude of excal players (SOME) is really poor.

I don't regret it as i've made alot of freinds from excal that I would never of done without it. So yes i'm happy with it.

some things are bad with more people, but im sure the game would be VERY boring at the moment if we had'nt clustered

Come back to play Fg rvr and although the zerg is strong i've been surprised at the quality of Fg v Fg fights i've had during Irvr in HW and Emain so far.
I'm voting yes because the pros greatly outweight the cons for me personally.

on the whole I do not like it, to much cross-realming now. But its tolerable, by no means one of the worse things to impact the game but I do not think its a good change by any means.

Simple answer, can't wait till warhammer. This game is really getting sh!t and has been for quite some time.

And RvR has gone down the drain since ToA. Was 10 times more fun in the old days.

I think we take for granted the new lease of life it brought to the game. new competition new faces new friendships.

i voted yes for cluster loong time ago, but i regret it now. Alot harder to get fair small fights witch is mostly what i like, and ofc 1on1s.

Pve wise its 10 times better, the ML/Arti zergs just makes everything quicker. Ofc it happens from time to time you move 1 char to prydwen and bb to excal.... that sucks :p

I voted "Excal - Yeah it´s nice with cluster".

It's better to get some fights and be zerged now and then, than to not get any fights at all.

What i don't like is iRvR. Don't know if so much iRvR is because of cluster or not, but having everyone in one place while all the other zones are empty is boring.

getting a good fight without adds is fkin hard, but then before cluster getting any fight at all was getting hard... and boring. i think some of the population that had left the game (for wow i guess) before cluster has returned now and things have got kinda zergy.

Voted yes. Since personally i feel that the fact there is always a healthy amount of people out and about is a good thing.

If people want to actively only have FG RVR, then i would suggest publicly stating an area for it solely on the basis of FG RVR.

aka - FG's drag them selves out into agramon for RVR (bit of a trek, but at laest its equal for all). And then decide not to add on eachother. If you all agree to it it'd be cure the problem. Bit of a tall order i know, but what can you do. The current state beats molesting the same lowbies repeatedly and makes things for the *uber* groups a challenge.

Well we've always had zerg, we've always had soloers being ganked by 2-3 or Fgs and there was always alot of action in old Emain compared with very little in odins or HW. At least now when iRvR gets going its not JUST in Emain, HW seems most popular place for it but over the past few days the rvr in Emain has been very very good during prime time. I dont mind being zerged because in all honesty it takes hardily any time to get back into the fight to try again and boat trips take ages with the same end results normally.
I think because the frequency of fights has increased (and of course the frequency of being zerged or added on etc has increased along with it) they've forgotten how things used to be and are looking back with rose tinted glasses.
Its a similar thing that goes on every patch where people come and shout DOOM! cant wait for WoW! (except now its warhammer). People have said rvr is shit for years and years, quite a few predicted this game would die a horible death after 2 years and so far its going strong, if not stronger due to NF.
At the end of the day you have to adapt your playstyle to the condition rvr is in at any one time, whether its iRvR or not, keep fight, Zerg, FG,small group or solo (Diverse isn't it? that has to be better than just Fg fights or just solo).

NF has something for everyone but crucially not necissarily all of the time though you have to respect that other people like different things about the game and forcing one playstyle on everyone would be so dull that would certainly kill the game (DOOM! :p ).

I would've prefered population increase without having to adapt to a somewhat different playstyle and mentality, but I believe having the servers clustered was really necesarry, as zerg action is always better than no action whatsoever ;p

Oh, and; polls suck!

i like it when hibs have instaport to mid or alb, makes crau a great place to solo at. not sure if its the same at bled and beno tho :(

in general i really like clustering, more groups is good. :p

its different as a stealther to a solo visual. this current rvr client is fantastic. Theres just so many routes to patrol and areas to work.

I have had bucket loads of excellent solo fights. I been flattened a number of times but hey, I have also had like a zerg of 30 albs stand and watch me kill somone and same for some mids.

really been good.

when its the norm, I have to boat it to a bridge head and all the peeps that are messing around on their mages (bless them) are swarming around the area where my targets are. There very few routes to camp (like the dock basically). A huge preportion of targets are not worth any RP, and like after like the 3rd 10 min boat journey im usually ready to log.

its been great this.

Last time you made a poll you promised you had an important point to make with it, and would make a new thread with that point...

Where the hell is it?

And cluster is a must, rvr was way too stale before, it's much better now. imo ofc :D

the only thing i don't like with cluster as aposed to what was before is the 1 hour time out with logging in different realms, on every other account it beats non-cluster by far. without cluster i think prydwen would be a very quiet place.

although the static iRvR is getting abit out of hand, wouldn't mind more keeps shifting owners instead of most action being concentrated into 1/10th of a zone.

Without the servers being clustered, things would be far too quiet.

Before the clustering, Prydwen had 800-1000 players on most evenings. I can remember the nights when Hibernia or Midgard only managed to run with just a single group in Agramon, sometimes it got a bit boring when you were facing the same group you killed easily every time, or the group which keeps wiping yours every run. Part of the fun is meeting different enemies with a variety of skill levels.

The cluster currently peaks at 1500 players, which seems to be a nice level.
