Without consulting Xavier, Deebs etc, I doubt there will be a new *nix forum. The operating systems forum is itself relatively inactive, and can easily accommodate all manner of OS-related questions, *nix included.

Yes, I'd definately prefer to keep all the OS chat together for the while.

When we get to the point where we're seeing 5-10 new and relevant *nix related threads appearing per day we'll probably give it a home of its own
