As a ACer about to hit LGM (1080 atm i think) i have seen what i believe are a few crafters using macro's as in they constantly drop high lvl crafted kit on the floor, never pick it up and are stood in the same spot for hours on end.

From what im lead to believe, getting a macro programme (a good one) costs money, all the materials they drop on the floor are lost, that costs them money (gold) as well.

I manually crafted my way to my current level and I could in no way afford to have lost the high lvl items i crafted, the resale value is immense and kept me going (especially 900+ items when the crafting clock is at its worst you can recoup 80-90% of your initial outlay by reselling the item, also sold a few items to players after cheap armour for lvl 40-49, this is gold i needed to make GM).

Imo macro crafters pay for it on both ends and in the middle, so why not just let them get on with it.

And sorry to disappoint you, but every point I did in my tailor, (am about to hit lgm for the very first time in a craft) I pressed the button myself m8. I would never even think of using macro's. Don't believe me? I can name over 10 people who can vouch that for me. Three of them are RL friends, one is my brother.

Its simple to get any program you like cracked/hacked whatver so you have the full version and its also easy to set up a macro to do any number of things. Such as only making 10 of something or selling each item back as it gets made.

If theyr determined theyl do it. I got 1144 alch manually and bloody hated it every step of the way now im rich so i dont care really though

goa/mythic needs to know about it and talk about it between themself, but how will players ever fix a cheat? Making it known will make sure people can report odd behaviour, but it also makes sure alot of people will know about it and use it.
But the cheat wont go away by talking about it on BW though...

not talking about macroing will do fuckall, people who want to macro will find out how, with or without this thread.

And btw macroing has been on these boards and is mentioned in the CoC, so I doubt that there is anyone out there not living under a rock that doesnt know about the existance/posibility
