I think crafters with about 700 in woodwork can now make furniture.

Give Fenriran a shout if you are interested and perhaps he will move off his rock in Hagall and make some ;)

Actually, I tried that. My weaponcrafter has stuff like 'Small Solid Oak Desk' in her craftlist, but that takes:

- 1 solid oak desk
- 100 oaken wood boards
- 29 runewood wood boards

The latter two are no problem, but I have no idea where to get a solid oak desk. o_O

I hope you dont have to buy the solid oak desk and then combine it with the 100 oaken boards and 29 runewood boards to make more fashionable furniture.

So, you take one Solid Oak Desk, then ADD 129 wooden boards and make a SMALL Solid Oak Desk?

Sounds to me that would instead make Huge F'ing Oak Desk, but hey...

I was thinking the same, Pixie.Pebr. I assume the original desk is bought through the housing interface. Or something. It'll be more than a week before I'm buying a house anyway. o_O

you can make items larger or smaller as you want them afaik

so if you want your desk smaller you chuck loads wood at it and it shrinks

Yes, you buy the items thru the housing interface once you purchase said house. Also you can buy items for your friends' houses if they give you permission.

Now how putting more wood on a desk would make it smaller... well that's gaming logic I suppose.

Oh and finally today the housing plots went under 100 p, yay!

No, Midgard furniture comes in a flatpack with it's own special tool to assemble it with. You get stylish and low priced furniture which you then export to other realms along with safe but boring chariots and mad sandwiches.

From what i can understand reading various webbies, you buy a generic furniture. generic i mean human size table. Then you can go to a crafter that can make it small or large depending on your own size.

I'm kinda curious about one thing - how do you know how much an item on a consignment merchant costs? Items with a short name you can see the price in brackets [XXXgp] but what about items with long names?

As a short term work around bring a noob or a bot with no cash and use him/her to try buy the item in question. It will say you dont have x amount to buy item.
Or transfer cash to a guildie or friend and try buy the item with no cash, if the price is right ;) transfer cash back and buy item.
