Might actually be worth learning the housing zones if Mythic had been even slightly imaginative with them instead of having square zones that they just jam together. No wonder it was a free expansion.

the lotnumbers are the same on every server, inlcuding the European ones, and thats what its all about, to locate a house quickly, not about the crap whether its taken or not or who lives there (what the map is primairly used for)

1) Use "Foundation entrance teleport token" (named after the Foundation's starting zone, Caerwent for Albion).
2) Get a horse where you want to go.*
3) Get speed ticket from Piper if needed and do /houseface x (zonewalls wont be a big problem because you start from the center of zone).
4) Repeat.

[*1-200 = Caerwent, 201-400 = Rilan (Hwithloew's), 401-600 =
Dalton (Alamdar's), 601-800 = Old Sarum (Maela), 801-1000 = Brisworthy (name below Maela )]

That´s why you almost never see people on horses in housing zone. When you buy a ticket from Sauvage to Snowdonia, it doesn´t say "Marc´s stable" too, so why here?

IMO, drop a token on the house number on the market explorer list to port you to the house, same way as you can port back from them.


One thing I wil say, using a UI with the map interface, I have all the housing maps complete with stable master names and routes marked. I still use an Itoner to travel though, as often the horse routes go for a scenic stroll before your destination.

Was helping someone get enough ML xp so they could get enough to activate ML8 and go on the ML9 raid last night. I actually managed to win something in the lotto afterwards. I was blundering around the housing zone later on getting the scrolls I needed to activate it. However, Crown Of Zahur looks a bit too much like an actual crown. I look even more idiotic now in game with that thing on my head.

I agree with the token idea for travel both ways. I mean really, who can be assed chugging around the area. Its utterly lifeless as nothing actually happens there.

Just keep some of the market return tokens in your vault / cm / backpack

The markets are in the middle of each zone so nice and easy to get anywhere really, just find the item you want, look for town its in ont he description eg "Dalt:Exergum Stone" (lol like anyone needs them now) - find the nearest consignment merchant and hand him your Dalton marker return token.. then /houseface and your there

Personally I think you should be able to buy the item directly off the Market Explorer - I know this would mean that your customers would no longer be able to admire that fabulous outhouse and snake fountain on your front lawn, but if that's the sacrifice we have to make for no more faffing around, so be it!

On topic, I agree with the 'buy from ME' but I think some sales are made from 'impulse buys' where you go to someones CM to get a scroll, for example, and see Mighty Sword of Dobber for 100g that would be useful for an alt.

I also agree with using location names instead of Maela, Alis, etc.

btw i think the reason we cant port 2 a particular house is 2 do with so not every1 just ports, if something costs 50g less but u know it will save u half ur life coz ur nto running into walls and getting frustrated for 10 hours then ull head there instead and probably summit 2 do with stopping people going for a item that u want so that you take sum 1 else doesnt get what u want coz ur already headed there so u should get there sooner (unless they have a house closer) but tbh id preffer 2 not get the most amazingly priced battler ever and just port 2 the house ffs
