I guess a lot of you out there use hotmail like myself. Has anyone been having trouble with it over the last week or so? REALLY slow loads.... breaking loads etc. I was thinking it may have something to do with the WTC crashes.... but it was working fine a week or so afterwards.

Anyone know of of a free web base email account with more than 5mb of account space? I hear yahoo has 5mb. Anyone know of any better?

It has been crap these past few weeks. Probably fighting off the dreaded Nimda virus. I've had partial emails, broken attachments all sorts of weird effects. It's all going to hell...Dammit

Hotmail, generally sucks the whole time, I only use it cause I travel a lot.

Use another.com. It's a good mail service, I believe allows 10MB mailboxes but the best thing is you can use a variety of domain names.

Take a look at the site and you'll see what I mean.

Cheers someguy..... after trying about 10 different user names i managed to get an account.

for some reason you had to put in a mobile telephone number.... i don't have a mobile. :p

Works fine for me.. not too bad when the spam filter is set to delete all mail more or less.. lol :)

Hotmail really got on my nerve - I got spam on a hotmail account I had, even though I told no-one about the account, and had never sent a mail from it.

Grrrrr.... hate spam.:eek:

Yahoo mail. I have been using the same yahoo mail account for 6 years now. Never had a problem and they use proper POP servers so you can setup outlook to collect/send it as well as the pretty good web interface. I think they give 6Mb. Can't fault 'em.

I don't mine using hotmail, i have set up the junk mail filter thingy so that gets rid of most of the spam.... i do get the occasional porn spam over the weekend - always Friday & Saturday. Only disadvantage i can think of is that the account is limited to 2mb. That's nothing really.


Another.com looks good!

Lol, something tells me i shouldn't use fuckyou.co.uk to send off online job applications.

I'm sure my mum won't mind one though

Well, i set up Barrymail to forward to my Hotmail account, BEAT THAT! ;)

I have 6 accounts forwarded to my Yahoo mail. Sorry.

Didn't recognise password and wouldn't mail it to me, either. Fair enough, I suppose.

I use barrymail and ukgamer.net for mine, never could really use hotmail as my isp sux and there forever having routing problems so using a local isp made more sense.

In what way did what I say mean I am proud? All I said was I have used it for years with no problems.
BTW Hotmail is completely shite in my opinion, its for web newbies
