Anyone know of any hotels in or around Manchester?

I want somewhere nice to stay, not arsed though because we are just getting drunk, however I would like somewhere where I can leave my car in relative safety.

However we have just read this

Now I do not give a shit about the room, but the thought of sharing the general area with a lot of scum bags aint my thing just spent a fortune on my car and the last thing I need is for it to get mindlessly vandalised.

So if anyone has any experience staying in or around manchester please give info
