I did post this in the Hosted forum but then realised no one looks in it - anyway here it is for all you peons to look at

I run a q2 coverage site called q2gamer and I was wondering how I could possibly go about getting a decent host for it for *ahem* free - at the moment its on f2s, but it suffers from lots of downtime, many 'slow' periods and is only 20megs!, I was wondering if any gaming sites would be interested in 'borging' it!! I would of course plaster ads at the top of the page for your trouble

Any suggestions of who I might ask (other than barrysworld who never replied to my enquiry *cough*)

Email me a detailed technical brief of how you use perl as we dont normally allow perl on our servers.

Also, any special requirements.

As for not getting back to you, if you read our hosting pages, it says that if your a high profile site in need of hosting to use email and not our automated system.

Yes I checked your Hosting page and e-mailed about a month back.. I didn't touch the automated system...

Specials for larger sites
If you run a larger gaming or community site, i.e. >100k audited hits a month, then we can probably offer you something a little different , mail us to enquire)

The site currently uses perl and so do its forums (ikonboard) but I do have someone redesigning the whole place using php
