i have a Netgear router (WGR614) and i have some problems.

I live in an apartment with installed connection so i had no option with my supplier. Anyway, I believe it to be a router problem.
Firstly it times out all the fucking time. When i turn off the router and back on, then it works fine for some time and then suddenly it just times out when i try to load pages. Really infuriating. Will have to switch out the router if i cannot find a solution.

Anybody who can help me! :(

On the latest firmware? If so, backup the config and try a factory reset.

If that doesn't work, you'll need to look at getting a new router.

I have the same router. It goes bezerk when I start up TF2. It doesn't like all those connections, and apparently there's no fix.

So now its unplugged, doing nothing.

What ISP are you on. Sometimes changing the MTU by a couple of points can make a massive difference.

The same thing happens to my Netgear DGN2000
I've updated the firmware and everything and it still keeps timing out...

I'm now back with my very old Be* router which works just fine...

I've heard a lot of reports about that router which say that. I've got the same router flashed to the most up to date Telewest firmware, and it is fine for me. I'm not exactly the most demanding person of it though, since I don't game online via the wireless.
