I still think its stupid to focus on the birth rate while ignoring the huge problem of rising life expectancies.

Good for the individual - bad for the planet as its the highest consuming countries that will all be living over 100 - god forbid if anyone cracks Immortality

If people keep living longer you automatically have a population problem - you could end up with 4 or 5 or even 6 generations alive all at once - thats not good.
