Hones caps

After hunting stealthers more or less permanently for 2-3 nights i have capped. To be honest am glad to do so too as it was exhausting.

Anthraxa, sorry just read your posting about a duel - doh - been trying to get you alone all night too. You certainly hit harder now - but the worse problem i had with you was your resistance to my poisons? Alchemy doing this? - God knows - will find out i expect. Without poisons taking i can't keep up enough damage against you. Trouble is you were never really alone so i had to stand and slug it out which i would never do on a hard hitter normally. If i attempted to slow you down and poison you at the same time then move off someone just jumped on me. Anyways sod it - had enough. Hope this stint makes me fed up with the game to be honest and i can move on and do something productive instead!! Hehe.

Buffs - no buffs? - sc no sc? - potions no potions? - procs no procs? - all a bit silly really! I wanted to bash a few infs heads in and i did - which is all i wanted - system purged of the need now.

PS Give us some credit though cos i left all non stealthers alone more or less - as you should have realized!!!

I think my resisting your poisons wasn't nearly as unbelievably unlucky as me not landing a single dot on you about 6 fights in a row today :>. I don't think I even swung my offhand in over 20 hits by one points. Of course, as sod's law dictates, The minute I put DoT on mainhand and leave enervating on offhand, I start to land it

Anyway I'm claiming at least one kill from today when I got you close to mpk. Of course, with you almost dead, a bloody inf comes and poaches the kill :> You were running at the time so I'm gonna claim that one Not made any changes really. The only reason I hit harder was I stuck with my bastard sword rather than switch between it and jambiyas like I did yesterday. Had the str/con potions for a 30 minute spell during which you attacked me twice. Hit for 140 non crit with garotte during that time which is 40% extra than normal... Shows what a difference even potions can make really...

Out of interest, was the buffbot you were using buffng all the other sb's tonight, as I seemingly ran into buffs 75% of the time vs sb's tonight. If so can you please cap him or level him too as it's not making my life easy

Take a ranger out? - who cares m8 - have had to duel all sorts cos of this posting - stuff that is far more dangerous than u were. Did it make me feel good killing people in duels - yeah at first - not so after!! Everything gets boring after a while.

Anthraxa - you kill all sorts with your power - i kill stealthers only! Try hunting a stealther in amongst loads of other stealthers then having to combine tactics to kill them with tactics to kill someone like you! To fight you amongst them meant i weakened myself against others. All i could do mainly was use imbalance and lethal cos everytime i hit something they run off. When i met you i had to do the same. Whereas when i dueled Weelil (big hitter) i poisoned her and imbalanced her and moved off. Came back for the kill - quite easy too. Impossible to do that in Thid cos of the rest of the gang that was always close to hand with you. Same goes for the others i duelled as only massive hitters wanted to take me on. Duel you or find you alone and know it was you? Tactics would have been far different - debuff you for one thing was essential - something i never did cos of peeps running all the damn time. Anyways - or trouble is - meeting a good inf or mouthy silly ranger makes me want to come back as Honed again which is not really good. Not good for me or good for the game. Cos if i come back it will be primarily to kill you and Nerv as she was also a big hitter. I won't come back as a venomblade either as Thid is more stand and slug it out. Also will come back with all sorts of extras as i can see who you are and what will be needed. So next Honed will be that much worse. Nah am taking a break - for now - but that silly ranger definitely needs a lesson - though not even sure wot his name is or anything. And i don't suppose he will shut his loud mouth yet either.

This game is too damn addictive and preys on your competitiveness (right spelling?) - something of which i know i have a lot of from winning races (running). Going to look for something to distract my mind or i will never put this damn game down and move on.

As for level playing field where everyone is the same? - for sure this is how it should be in my opinion. No sc - no buffs - no enhancing potions. Infact nothing that makes you stand out from anyone else - but wot happens then? Moving around in combat - yeah great - tis how i fought with my first inf - but wtf - 'Strafing in Combat and blow misses' so they nerfed that?

Could go on all day about this nonsense. But as you said earlier Honed will cause probs in Thid cos of being so nasty but you are going to make matters worse too cos Honed 2 will be a lot harder hitting if he comes back - so think on that Anthraxa! Buffed/SC/Potions/Procs/Flamegun/Rocketlauncher/Kitchen sink? - anything he can get his hands on to improve him even further!

As for the silly ranger - i was scared of you m8 - must admit - fight you without buffs? - sheesh would feel naked and underpowered for sure!! There yu go - that should satisfy your ego and help you sleep at nights.

Looks to me like you lot are just pissed at how easily i nailed you all? Only one that put up a good fight was Anthraxa and she can be nailed np with right tactics. Boasting - most likely - cos i like to win and i usually do at nearly everything i take up.

Me (scout ) and another scout stood not far from MB , you come past me , i spot you through stealth and unstealth you by smacking you one , you go for the other scout , only just manage to kill him , and i escape still alive , despite the fact i had a hunter shooting arrows at me ( that always seemed to pop up when you attacked someone )
Saying that you solo and take people out 2 at a time ( in the other stupid thread ) is full of shit .
Bragging that you can kill people 1v1 when fully buffed using a buffbot is nothing to be proud of .

We are talking BG0 here now ain't we? 16 stealth there and was a major drawback - 24 with items in BG1 m8 and no way would you unstealth me there unless you were by side of me. To be honest though scouts are surprisingly robust. Sometimes they drop remarkably fast then other times the shield comes into play and you block quite well. Only reason i was killing scouts was because you back up infs all the time. If you didn't do that i would not target you. No gripes against scouts really just infs. Had a 47 albion scout called Peaceful who i luved to play.

As for dropping 2 at a time - well take my word for it i had to as there were always 2 together or more.

Why did i go to Midgard after having played on Albion for so long? Reason was that in BG1 i roamed solo as an inf most of the time and could spend ages looking for something to kill cos of the sheer number of Albions in BG1 at the same time. I decided to pack it all in and join the underdogs - who i considered to be Midgards. Hibby land might have been better but didn't have any idea about where stuff was there and had already played Mid prior to this.

Ok i went mental and created a buffbotted lunatic SB but was through frustration at having to face up to tons of infs all the time. Have played with Mids loads of times who can't get out of the MPK cos of multitudes of infs. You might moan and groan at my tactics and brutality but unless you play against your own realm and see the amount of stealthers that you constantly put out you ain't seen the frustration this can create.

Might well create another SB called Honedunbuffed or something as i have calmed down a lot now.

Full of shit and all the rest of it am I? To be honest i don't think so as i have played infs/scouts/sbs for so long i probably know every trick in the book. Prior to this game i played Ultima Online where i had an assassin type with more tricks (not exploitations) than peeps knew existed. Talk about deadly! There i dueled cocky guild masters (long term players who had trained others and setup guilds of their own) and won - never lost. Bragging? - i just don't like losing just like the rest of you but seems to me where i differ is i go off if i lose and analyse to return much stronger instead of moaning and groaning? If i had met Honed as he was in BG1 and seen how he played as a new player i would probably pack it all in and i apologise for that but any other player - like Anthraxa - does wot i do and that is to think of something to counter. Did it remarkably well i thought in a very short space of time. She i think killed me - or would have if another inf hadn't joined in - on 2 occasions where my poison failed to take.

I started this posting being abusive myself through anger - subsided now. Teenager or something - eh no sorry!

Capable of creating another even worse Honed? - very much so but can't see me doing so really - levelling to 24 then capping in just 2 nights? Gone from nothing to kill to far too many - doh you just can't win.
