What about France? I admit that southern France is quite hot, but if you stay around places like Narbonne you'll have ok prices and still a very nice surrounding.

Or well, something totally else but really fun is to find some DAoC friends from a skandinavian country and ask them if you can stay for a bit =) I went to Finland for a few days like this and I must say I really enjoyed the time =)

in all seriousness go portugal, go the the algave, possible alberfeiro if you can (not sure on spelling) the beachs are great the food is really nice an quite cheap in the middle of town thiers a big road going up from the beach for a mile or so into the centre called the strip that has loads of bars restraunts ect, really really good night life thier

an you can go on a jeep safari where u get to see laods or rural portugul an got into old skool villages drink home made achahol thats like 80% proof


nice people nice place nice price not to hot but hot enought, best holiday i had was thier (was in during euro 2004 hosted in portugal so the atmosphere was amazing)
