Who cares?

Makes no difference at all to the vast majority of people, even minimum wage types mainly get 4weeks-ish paid holidays in addition to bank holidays.

Everyone working in the NHS gets 27 days A/L on appointment, rising to 33 days after 10 years.

*doesn't need to fill in*

So who will pay for these extra holidays then?

The employer. Right, typical bloody Labour sentiment, squeeze the pips from 'the rich'.

They're just buying themselves more votes.

The gap between the 'rich' and the 'poor' has increase under labour to it's highest in <ok so I can't remember but it's a lot more than it was under thatcher> so they can't be harming poor little rich people that much.

on the subject of holidays.
as many of you know i work for mc donalds. the way in which holiday pay is shown on my pay slip is something like "pay accumulated".
if you want time off they just dont give you a shift rather than paying for you to have a holiday.

is it a legal right that i can get my holiday money and can i demand to be paid for days off (upto my accumulated money) rather than just not be given a shift?
