I went to Prague in September 2002 and September 2003. I can't recommend it highly enough for anyone with an interest in cheap, wonderful Czech beer, European history and architecture and pretty Eastern European girls. Watch out for pickpockets though! My wallet didn't even make it out the airport last year.

If you go to Prague and are there for more than a weekend, try to find the tour operators located at the base of Wenceslas Square.

For something stupid like a fiver or at worst a tenner they do trips all over the Czech Republic. 3 I would recommend are:

1. Visit to Archduke Ferdinand's hunting lodge. This place is like Colditz Castle, this is the guy that was assassinated (sp?) and it kicked off World War I. The guy was a manic hunter and killed something like 125,000 animals and you can see all kinds of crazy shit here.

2. Terazin. Not for the faint of heart, this was a labour/political internment camp that that the Nazis built. I cried like a baby, lots of people died here and it was one hell of a grim place but worth it, made me think.

3. Moving on to brighter things - Pilzen. HOME OF PILSNER. Bottles of Pilsner here for NINE PENCE equivalent, I shit you not. Fucking A.

I'm off to Canada (Toronto) at the end of June for 2 weeks. I'm going mainly for a big tattoo/piercing festival there followed by a tour designed to get some roots laid down with an eye to emigrating out there next year or the year after.

After that in August I'm going off on a tour of Estonia/Latvia/Lithuania/Russia which will end up in Moscow and back to the UK - Sicko will like me being in Estonia

Careful in Moscow, AIDS endemic there atm. Just don't shag any hookers, and if offered Compote, don't take it :x

Anyway, my Dad is taking all my brothers & sisters to Dubai and i wasn't invited, so...i'll hopefully be going to Glasto and might go on a cheapo Ryanair flight to Scandi for a week or 2 with my ma.
