i went to fuerta ventura (canary islands) a few years ago (Feb 2010 i think) was great fun, ~22C the whole time, cheap drinks, cheap food good times

if you are not looking for sunshine this time of year i can recommend Prague, amazing city

(or if you are looking for the single angle go to Scandinavia and speak with a british accent, chicks here love that shit )

That is a great sunshine break, lovely place if you hire a car and explore the island. Going back in March with my girlfriend to do exactly that, hopefully watch some dolphins and whales too.

Nightlife good in those places ? Wasn't a fan of Morocco at all but I've only been to Tangier, Fes and Marrakesh.

Nightlife wont be a blast in Morrocco, its a Muslim country after all. Ive never been to a night out or drank any alcohol. However, Essasoira was full with surfers and they attested for having quite a raving time. I'd recommend Morrocco for the scenery and the culture, rather than its nightlife.

Looks like it's effectively impossible to get decent seats to Cape Town for over Christmas, now

Most South Africans fly via Dubai as the fares are cheaper than direct to UK. Stupid but true.

You will never get cheap flights over Christmas unless you go indirect and live in an airport for a day...even then it won't be cheap.

Besides, I would recommend going in February...weather is superb then.

Well I'm going to Melbourne in March so going to Cape Town in feb would be excessive
