Heya,

I wanna goto Paris and The Latin Quarter seems very hard to find accomodation :-(

I want to visit the Notre Dam, Louvre, Latin Quarter, Sacre Coeur of Montmartre and all the other cool places they have. I also would like to be able to go out in the evening and have fun.

I have heard Monmarte is a good place, but can anyone give me some more info? I know Sacre Coeur of Montmartre is obviously in Monmarte but wondered what the nightlife is like.

aw man i'd love to go to paris!

seeing as no one here is going to be helpful i'll suggest you go buy a lonely planet or rough guide to paris, those books are worth their weight in printer ink tbh, we got one for amsterdam and it really helped us make the most of the time we were there.


when you go i have a mission for you, take a picture and make it look as if your either climbing up the eiffle tower or balancing on top of it, not using photoshop just good old fashioned camera trickery!

I can afford to stay in a hotel and I'd prefer the comfort so i'll say no to a hostel.
My friends got one of those lonely planet books so will have a read in there.

If you are using Eurostar look for hotel and travel packages on eurostar.co.uk
A good location that is in Paris thats quite easy to get to places that isnt very expensive would be the 9th arrondissement around Opera area if you dont care about the price then the 1st to 4th arrondissement.

Not too sure on nightlife although i did have a great time in The Montecristo club on the Champs Elysee great place if a little crowded. Was a while back but i am sure its still amazing.

The guides Ezteq mentioned are great too worth a look at them.

Try to look at the Mona Lisa without looking into her eyes! Its weird that picture, has a strange aura about it Loads of Hotels mate. We just got a train over and went in afew until we found 1 we liked. Not cheap tho.
