Finished SP at the weekend, now I am totally hooked on MP. It gets better and better imo.

MOHAA has been finally uninstalled. RIP MOHAA!

The single-player is really good, but not particularly long I thought. Managed to finish it in two nights.

Multiplayer is good, but grenades need to be made weaker or you spawn with less of them because on some maps it's just a constant spam at some chokepoints. I can't remeber what map it is, but the snow one is insane because the Nazi's just sit with sniper rifles and take you out from miles off. It's still fun though

MP is fun... team death match is a little pants, ie. sniper wars on certain maps (like Huertgen - which has not enough trees to make it look like the actual Huertgen forest ).

btw - I am currently on dial up and manage a 250 or less ping to some servers but still have a little lag, ie my cross hair is a little wobbly. Does lowering graphics settings improve performance?

Nah, lowering graphics shouldn't effect your ping, unless your on an internal pci software modem. Arguably the com_maxfps setting could be a factor I suppose tho. Have a look at how this can effect your con here in the q3 guide.
