Tbh duo solo runs are long time dead on "normal" hours:

12:00 - 14:00

HW = dead / 2-3 Mid Stealthers
Odin = 2-3 Infils camping hmg

On peak hours it's impossible to solo duo obviously as stated by Bebop some rows before.

I really can't see the point in this thread apart some1 whining cause HE cannot farm Soloers more with HIS LITTLE 2-3 Stealthers ZERG. Adapt and go on folks since now u'll be on the other side of the barricade as us ex-soloers.

Well I know at least half the people on the list regularly run solo/duo but, at the same time, would like to boost our Realm Ranks to try and catch up with our counterparts elsewhere. Once this gets organised I would suggest that you don't look for us jumping soloers and duos, watch for us doing what we already have on more than one occasion (in non-organised form) and attacking full groups of non-stealth classes - yeah we'll lose some, but we will win some too (and already have) - we'll enjoy the game our way, you enjoy it yours, and let's all just get along.

As for the camping AMG with adds scenario - every realm does it, every realm will keep doing it, get used to it and adapt.

RvR is, by the nature of the game's story, a war - in war things happen that one side, or the other, don't like otherwise life would be like this...

Nerf Westies imo, see how you like it when you turn up and there’s no-one to fight. We put together 1fg of Republican Guard and go looking for a fair fight, what happens? You send 3fg Bombers and add with at least 4-5fg Marines and Commandoes. Add in the fact that you have at least 2fg SAS camping our barracks and what do you expect? It’s not fair!

Givf balance, if you’re going to come then just bring one group for balanced fights or you killing the game!

I always run duo with Downanael, he is a lazy bastard and not online till late evening so i solo a bit in Odin's/HW during daytime , that's when the lurizerg hurts, ME personally, most :x.

The making of the topic was just an organisational thing as we find most of the guys involved end up running similar places at similar times.

If anything I would hope that you'll find this leads to us camping milegates a lot less, we want to explore other avenues and try to find different ambush spots, maybe we'll even just attack with small elements of the group then bring in the others if things go awry or we get added on - who knows? only time will tell.

Tbh i can't care less than a bit of YOUR bollox, make whatever u like. No whines stopped u and your fellas to jump on soloers in 2-3 before so where's the point? I didn't whined about it i simply went on trying then gave up and going out in FG more or less always. Isn't a big problem going out in 3 fgs of non stealthers tbh to me.

Agree with u tho is the same shit on either side of the fence since if i go out solo i got jumped by 2-3 stealthers which force me to get more ppl and come back to clear out the whole thing.
In the end i can't solo sadly as i would like to so maybe this thing will make some peeps think about it, that's all ^^

Firstly - You can call me what you like, it's a free world - I've been called worse for less, in game and in real life - in time you'll learn that insults mean little when you grow older.

The fact that I didn't state that I would get more/faster RPs obviously eluded you though. The RPs per kill will be less, the fact that we can kill more may well balance this out - but then maybe it won't, time will tell.

Yes, before you say anything, I did say that I wanted to boost my RPs - the fact that I am limited in when I can play, and for how long, means that I spend an awful lot of solo/due times standing by the side of the road watching large groups run past, and very little time amassing kills. This group means that we can all commit time to a group that knows it can attack more often than it stands and watches.

What this will allow us to do is widen our horizons and get RPs by methods other than full-time milegate camping and hunting other stealthers (if it doesn't then I'll soon be leaving the group).

Mids and hibs can port easily....and alb stealth zerg can get there in couple of mins with mincer.

Big stealth wars would be kinda fun leaving maybe emain/odin's for visible battles/solo's/duo's of stealthiers

Set in a scenario of 3 realms at WAR - you want a situation where set numbers/people can be left alone to fight in peace? Run DAoC on a server, give the people yoiu want access, use Mod facilities to create set characters/kit - knock yourselves out.

The game changes, it's been doing it since the "good old days" when I could happily rack up RPs running in a group at level 39 where we only had 4 50s in it. That's changed, RvR has evolved, and it will keep on evolving.

2 Theres nothing wrong with wanting to RvR anywhere you want to. As a solo player i have had a year of fun rvring in yggdra during level 45-50. On numerous occasions my favourite mid player has stuck arrows in my back and set her big dog on me. She knows who she is

3 Can you expect a low realm rank Nightshade to want to go to Emain as a soloer? Ive been soloing there for a while now and yes its a great challange but it aint no fun coming to the end of a good fight with an infi/sb when a full group + of mids/albs finishes u off.
