it's more one of curiouse intreage, I dont belive there's any pun or maliciouse intent,
but as you said toht, silly at best, the interresting bit is how it's perceived, in comparision to had it been a white person.
There was a famous person (singer i think)from years ago who had shoe polish on his face (or something to make it black) when he performed. Wonder how people reacted to that.
