I have never tried it...
Think I played finaly fantasy V on playstation once tho

Is it like PvP, is it team combat is it a mmorpg at all or just a rpg?

Any info would be apreachiated, cause I want to get my head out of daoc... thanks.

Ok I have been reading for something sick like 4-5 hrs about this game now... Think I have a bit more knowledge (alltho not mutch ) It looks like great fun, and I realy realy need to scrap DAoC... (Its just not fun anymore, but I have too mutch spare time )


I have been thinking tho, maybe I should roll on one of the US servers instead... Seemes like there are a bit few players on these EU servers or is that a wrong assumtion?

There is no such thing as european servers
The game has only been released in Japan / USA so far, so you will have to import. And servers aren't split into different language ones, so Japanese and americans (and the europeans) play together.

You seem very interested in the PvP part. Keep in mind that FFXI is a cooperative game first and foremost.

If you're expecting anything like Daoc ( large scale battles between players etc ) - you would be wasting your time.

If you however fancy cooperative MMORPGs, then FFXI is a very nice game.
