Hmm, sound card fucked up?

Hmm, when I tried out teamspeak today, I couldnt hear crap. Rejiggled my headphones and had to resort to pulling out the headset wire halfway to hear clearly.

Is it my headset thats buggered or the sound card round the back?

Easist way is to try another headset.... then by default try another sound card...

Or maybe try local testmode of Teamspeak with nothing else running first
First try with normal speakers - if you get normal sound there, proceed with plugging in headset...


Pulling out cords halfway to get sound in both headphones can mean 1 channel(wire) is broken...Old trick used to get sound in my old Walkman when crappy earplug cord failed
