I've gone through the house md's, galacticas, startgates, scrubs, dr who's, heroes and now i need new stuff to watch. Finnish tv is so bloody limited that there's maybe one show i can watch on the telly.

Any suggestions on sitcoms(new or old), scifi thingies or other series(with possibly a tiny description like: spaceshooty thingy) appreciated.

Twin peaks is good, saw it ages ago though. Have to check out jericho, corny is sometimes real good

Yeah i'm saving that one for emergency's.

Never watched any of it. Kinda like happy rotter movies, waiting until they all come out and marathon 'em

then watch the film that fineshes it off, serenity (series was canceled cos fox are arseholes)

red dwarf is good 8 series of that

and Angel, spin off from buffy which is like 10x better than buffy imo

Red Dwarf - Scifi comedy gold
Blackadder - Medieval Comedy Gold
Death Note - Really good anime series
Open All Hours - About a stuttering shopkeeper and his nephew
Evangelion - One of the ebst anime series around!
Bottom - Gross out humour, some of the live shows are hilarious.
The Young Ones - Gross out humour, quite funny
24 - Apprently its fantastic, never watched it myself though

The 4400 - 4400 people are kidnapped by aliens over time and returned all at once with no recollection.
C.S.I. - Forensics and stuff.
Las Vegas - Series about a Vegas casino and it's employees. Has James Caan in it.
Alias - Jennifer garner kicks arse as a double agent.
That 70's Show - Comedy about teenagers in the 70's.
The Shield - Hard hitting, gritty cop drama set in the US.
The Wire - See above (not seen it yet, have it queued up ready, but meant to be good.)

I liked Dexter.
A crime scene investigator, his speciality is blood. - But at the same time he is a psyco serial killer himself. (Offcause only killing bad guys... tsk tsk tsk).

But it is decent tbh.

Else I can say that Weeds is a really fun and good show.
About a suburbian(sp?) single mom who earns her cash by selling... guess?? WEED. wuhuu...

But it is rather good aswell.

Cartoons:
Family Guy - is ok but gets boring at times
American Dad - comedy gold
Futurama
Deathnote - anime series, it's not the usual fighting etc well worth a look
Naruto - traditional cheeys anime, but addictive after you watch a few
Bleach - i prefer this to naruto as there is less "fillers", and storyline is for more mature audiences

Real peoples:
Firefly - girl gets brain screwed up by government, brother saves her, get away on ship called firefly basically follows her and the crews story
Dragons Den - i dont know why i found it rather addicitve, people pitch their ideas for money
V - aliens take over the world, human resistence etc etc
BattleStar Galactica - not seen it myself, bu heard good things
Dune - based on Frank Herbert's books, again not seen myself
The Dead Zone - Based on Stephen King's book, its a psychologicak one where the main character has psychic powers.-powers that allow him to see into the life of anyone he touches. Not seen it but heard its ok time killer(not as good as the movie tho, so that may be a good place to start)

Star Trek - The next generation is quite nice chillaxing sci fi actually, weird it havent been mentioned :>

And i can wholeheartedly recommend Twin Peaks (Mulder makes a guest appearance at some point, prepare to get shocked). DAMN GOOD COFFEE...

Masters of Horror is a REALLY REALLY good horror series - alot of different instructors doing different horror short stories (ok a few ep's are really horrible, but the largest part is VERY good)

Penn and Teller Bullshit is also quite funny in a political sence
