Sprintspeed: ~300 units/second
NS'ed BD range: 1500*0.65 = 975
Distance to cover: 1500-975 = 525
Casttime root: ~1.9s
Distance covered: 574
So after you have rooted the pet, you'll be interrupted. Your best bet would be to have a ruby pet summoned, but even then it'll be tough.
Distance left: 926
Casttime dot (qc): 2.0s
Distance covered: 600
Distance left: 326
By now your quickast is down and the BD will have covered the gap before you can get off the next spell, meaning that you won't get in another spell. The BD can still instant lifetap and has qc up for a DD.

A lesson on kiting will follow breifly children.

Btw, kiting rox.
And btw, I'm ultra-bored...
By the time you've casted your dot, the bonedancer is effectively on you. Kiting won't help you then. If you have an amber/emerald simulacrum he can root it, so they'll be no help for the kiting either. This may allow you to get off an ae-dot, unless the BD is properly equipped and has charges or unless he times his root good, so he can interrupt your cast with his lifetap while rooting the pet.Dorimor1 said:There is revelutionary new button, its called the backwards button key, its truly amazing, and also, players that don't play tanks, who button smash and hope they press the right style will know that you can also kite.

Alternatively the BD could turn when he sees he's NS'ed and return when he's immune..

Newbiespell said:Tbh, a bd can be taken down, and imo, it's very easy in thid. If your playing the right char. My inf can usually 1 or 2 shoot a bd, and if not, the dissease will do the trick. And bolts should also do enough dmg to take out a bd. Melee classes is hard, as you need to outdmg lt + heal pet, but it can be done. Bloody hate the instalifetap interrupt on my sorc tho, see a bd = run, unless im grpd with dori ofc ^
Demon2k3 said:well imo all sbs in thid are adding wankers that can do nothing else but add on fair fights.
learn how to soloe please mids, is it really needed for an skald to wait for his runie buddie to kill me?
polza said:some thid bds thou rlly are extremly stupid, im lieing dead after he killed me while me and NS was on sm, he then turns and runs and the NS chases im hittin im, the bd continues back turned, no sprint, commander on passive and not once did he face to lt lol.
