Let me get this straight.........some people were copy/paste their passwords from the clipboard everytime they logged in?

So the theft of these passwords was from remote access of their clipboards and stealing all the info held on the clipboard.....?

Im not big on hacking scripts etc, so im wondering for myself and anyone else out there reading this thread.

tbh not a lot of people would have much use for your password as they would need your username too (and you dont really need to copy that) and as you dont use your real name in game, noone will guess it easily

Plus ive memorised my DAOC password, no one is gonna use IE to pull it from my head

It is one thing making a post on how bad security people have in general but making a link where all can see peoples password is just stupid.

dude u played the game for a year. memorize ur pass..

i change pass every 2nd month or so, takes me 2 days tops to do them by memory.

have it like US version where u can choose your own username/pass

imo its very silly way of creating username/pass here on EU

usernames created from your first/lastname and pass auto generates (lot easier to brute force these passwords then passwords u choose urself)
