cheers for the link Wij very informative. I heard they were going to reorganise the HOL and assumed they would finally kick the bishops into touch. Shame really, just gives the other religions cause to get seats as well. No need for them at all.

If you think the government here are ridiculous, try Australia.. I'm no expert, but a friend has lived out there for a couple of years and says its a joke, even compared to here. I'm aware that's a completely anecdotal post with no evidence to back it up Anyone know any better?
