One thing of interest in those graphs, you can see the sudden drop in population with the Glastonbury server opening in Dec last year, and that the popoulation didn't recover, and is on the downward spiral.

But then again when the numbers were low and poeple noticed in the summer, I think the saying was 'ah well yes, its summer everyones on holiday' I guess they just still are, but the holiday is WOW, GW or something else.

Mostly only the RP whores that play daoc, pve is all same old same old, and pvp you can gague from trolling these boards for 10 mins. First day of cluster before classic there were 600+ middies online every night. When classic opened that dropped to 300 where it is slowly dropping each month and thats a sad situation to say 40% are bb's. LOTM is just a revamped catacombs with another rvr dungeon that will be empty in 2 months and pve areas that will be dead once everyone has got cl10 and fotm items/weapons. With banter of people going US and WAR out next year, EU daoc is taking its last wind/breath.

u can thank a) mythic for being dedicated to promoting a Siege type Irvr end game that only newbs get any enjoyement from b) lemon players (mainly casters) adding and perma doorstepping (zero skill, zero balls) for removing any concept of competative RVR from other players.

Though I enjoy fg vs fg in open field, I've never understood why limiting the tactical options by removing terrain obstacles is the hallmark of a superior player.
