Ive just bought all 3 books by Philip Pullman.

They were selling them for 20% off at "Borders"

They are supposed to be superb!! I will be getting stuck into them this weekend!

Don't listen to them, the 3rd book won the fuckin Whitbread Book award for best novel in 2001.

Yeah they're kids books but so was the "Lord of the Flies".

Think Harry Potter for inteligent children with an anti-christian bent that will get Phil Pullman burnt at the stake if he ever goes to the southern USA.

To sum it up they're very good, definitely one I'll be giving my son to read.
