Robocop was pure classic.
Robocop 2 was pure fun.
Robocop 3 was purely average.

The Robocop series is indeed fucking awesome.

The first is a classic with some great action and sharply observed black humour.

The second is ok but it is let down by one of the worst soundtracks in sci fi cinema history. When I want to explain to people how a poor soundtrack can destroy an ok film, this is the example I use.

A good example is the chase scene where robocop is on the motorbike after the generic bad guy in the truck. Its like supermarket or lift music. Utterly dreadful.

I rather liked the third but they seem to have ran out of budget when making it because if they'd put a little more cash where it was needed, it would have been great. The annoying kid and the ropey fx towards the end marr it.
