The recipient of the Academy Award for the Greatest film of alltime is being remade !

The script writers are the same duo who penned Ironman ( which was a surprisingly better than expected film ).

The studio behind it is Summit Entertainment who made Push ( which was pretty cool if you havn't seen it ) Twilight , The Hurt Locker etc.

we will taketh the script. put in an awful soundtrack, add some sex scenes that have no plot imperative, and cast some awful actors in completely the wrong parts.

Highlander is my second all-time favourite film.
The Crow is my all-time favourite film.

I can quote every single line of the film, in time, with inflection because I've seen it that often. Film trivia for you... the last scene where you see the planes flying down the valley and where he's sitting on the hillside with Brenda was actually filmed at the top of Sychnant Pass in North Wales.

All my favourite films deal with mortality/immortality.

Highlander is a classic, but it is hardly serious filmmaking -- more a pop video that goes on for 90 minutes I don't care though, it was one of the first films I fell in love with and first love lasts forever, 'even if there is no place for us'.

There were some good parts in Highlander 2 ("Careful she's wanted by the police!" "Really? I didn't know the police had such good tashte" (sic)) with excellent stints by Ironside and Connery but on the whole it was a cruddy follow-up.

Total Recall is an excellent film, don't understand why it gets a bad press off some.

OK, so they're both a bit crappy but at least Total Recall tries to be interesting with its plot. Plus it has hilarious uber violence.
