I kind of agree. It was the most frustrating mission but at the same time the most impressive and innovative. A 1930s race-track with authentic vehicles in the middle of a third-person shooting/driving game. You don't get that sort of variety in most games.

But yes, it was frustratingly hard to actually win that race, but OH MY GOD THE TENSION when I was in only just 1st place on on the last lap. My heart was thumping, mainly because I was so close to almost not having to start that mission over again.

Mafia is a great game, everyone. I was put off by the demo but bought it recently on a whim and I now rate it as the best game I have. Very very long and engaging single-player campain and then another 19 missions and a 'free-ride extreme' mode are unlocked when you complete it. Top stuff!

Truly excellent. It also let me dig out my MS Force-feedback wheel. MAFIA I LOVE YOU!

the racing mission killed mafia for me.
I eventually got a save game off a website after a day or two, but then i got to last mission ish and just couldnt be arsed.

tempted to complete it with cheats for ending tho :x

Incase you still want to do the traceroute thing, you can try this:

at the command prompt, as before, type:

tracert a.b.c.d > c:\tracert.txt

nout happens on the screen, but open tracert.txt in notepad

notepad c:\tracert.txt

will do that without you needing to find the file.

Copy and paste the contents - easy
