Hibs Major Problems

i think that firstly "ravingdog"... is a bit of a biach... in fact im going to call him/her:

"raving-mad-jim-jim-the-little-dog-boy"...

and of course this name is subject to expansion depending on what day of the week it is... what ive had for breakfast and the current state of the inteplanetary treaty between earth and "raving-mad-jim-jim-the-little-dog-boy-space-cadet"s home planet of "Whine", with its orbiting satalllite "cry-more-n00b" and moon "dear-oh-dear-where-are-my-cheesie-nibbles?"

in fact now that it comes to mind i think i will substitute "raving-mad", with "howling-mad"... like from the TV show A-team...



-PLing???

i have been in 6 XP groups EVER... I have been playing since 1 week after release (would have been from release day but i had alcohol poisoning)

about 80 days playtime, and lvl 48... (ok so im a 1163LGM tailor, but thats just a sideline)

so dont whine about ppl not PLing you... n00b.



-HDS...

im in HDS, so as you can imagine i feel strongly about it... many of the higher rank ppl in HDS are irl friends... i know most of the founding members on a first name basis outside the game...

HDS was founded on the first week of release... at this stage there was noone even REMOTELY high enough lvl to know what a 'fin' was let alone the "rules"...

and for the last 4 weeks, i have spent about 16 hours every weekend on the "fins4 waiting list"... so dont even start on that one... if HDS gets preference in fins 4 then id damn sure like to get some of that action... but im not, and hence it aint.



-underpopulation....

you see "howling-mad-jim-jim-the-little-biach-boy-space-cadet", underpopulation comes when the birth rate spends too long lower than the death rate...

i have changed my mind... "howling-mad" was cool... as in the ateam... i am reverting to "raving-mad"... hence we are now on "raving-mad-jim-jim-the-little-dog-boy-space-cadet"... for those of you not keeping up...


the real problem as i see it is simple... one word...


SEX


simple, i know... but what isnt when you really think about it...


you see i think wou have it all wrong... instead of PLing ppl to get them to high level... we should in fact just get the realm to have more sex.

now i can understand how this might confuse you "raving-mad-jim-jim-the-little-biach-boy-space-cadet", but it is logical... the more sex the realm has, the more ppl it has... hence increasing the birth rate, will increase the realm population...


BUT HOW WILL THIS INCREASE IN FREE LOVE AFFECT THE MODERN DAY HIBERNIAN IDEALS???

a good question... id be surprised if you came up with it "raving-mad-jim-jim-the-little-biach-boy-space-cadet", but then again you didnt... i did... and im smarter than you, so im not really surprised...

well to answer you (or, erm, me)... this will cause a number of phenominons... primarily the reduction in rvring to just "hang out in bars"... this will of course cause crowding in the main city areas, but we think we can solve this by opening a HUGE number of coffee bars, and turning Mag Mell into a dedicated singles bar... fagan, was initially opposed to this idea, but aftert the "accident" he finally came arround... albeit some wees later.


HOW CAN THIS BE LIKENED TO PLING?

well... sex does require a few specific conditions... specifically, like the best PLing spots (fins4), there will be the best "sexing" spots... personally i think that the privateness of tir uphost and surrounding area will be very popular (BECAUSE NOONE GOES THERE EVER)... or accross the river from howth...

these are ideal places for a romantic picnic, followed by "repopulation" of the realm...

there are always some deviants... the likes of darkness falls will probably be quite popular for those interested in "fetish" thrills... or of course the "halls of the dead" but im sure we all want to forget what might happen in there...


WILL THIS NOT JUST DEGENERATE LIKE EXPING DID?

probably...

think about it...

powersexing your lower level chars...

the best sex spots will always be camped...

there will be a waiting list for sexing...


CRAFTING?

we must also be ready in our crafting department as well... there will of course be an increase in the realms pimps... in fact we may have to bring in a new starting class "hoodlum", which of course at level 5 can become either a "pimp", "pusher" or an "extorionist"... (the ppl who get money out of ppl, not the ones who bend themselves in weird ways...)

the increase in trade however will have a large impact on the realm... no more will ppl be spamming

GROUP IMPACT?

group sex? well each to their own.

bards will be of particular importance here...

however it might be difficult to twist the end and speed songs mid-coitus.

The dud is not king of spelling, im not wery good to but so f***ing what.

I have been told that the other realm is PLing alot and we dont, that could be wery bad for us at rvr, but i realy dont whant to PL every day. That whod be to boring.
And if we get owned at rvr. i kinda quited afther my chanter magical got rr5. (and my hero got owned by a mins). So i realy dont care.

Lets make a test for you flamers, every 1 whos older then 14 flame you heart out, every 1 whos younger pleas dont replay att all. hm ges im not geting flamed then

No? its not bad that you guys dont PL, peeps should lvl up themselves - learn to play there char before they run from DL to Emain. PL is not a good thing, and atleast nothing you SHOULD do.

More like a friendly favour, and btw - i just passed the age of 14.

Well, if you're going to throw down THAT sort of a challenge... and by the way, before I indulge myself here, I've passed my 30th birthday (several years ago in fact) so I daresay I've forgotten more about how to flame than you've ever learned - if a semi-literate chimpanzee like yourself has ever actually learned anything.

So f***ing what if you can't spell, you say? Now, I'd love to flame some more, but I need to go and complete my tax return - not that I feel particularly inclined to give my hard-earned money to the government, when I see the quality of education they're obviously delivering. On the other hand, though, maybe some more funding for special needs education is what is required in your case.

hrm dud not all players is from a english talking contry, like my self. (im from norwy). So you cant expect every 1 to be good at writing english. And if you realy are 30+ then you realy should now that all this flaming on BW is waste of space. And even flaming a dud for spelling some words wrong, bha get a life, you muts be a teachers or something.

Kian mate, many people don't come from English-speaking countries.
That said, there are also issues like dislexia and other things like it.
On the other hand of course, we ALL know that the educational system in USA and UK sucks (big time) ;).

But reading Barrywhine does spices up my life ...

2. They don't? I've been treated VERY kindly on Prywden/Hibernia alot better than i was first treated on Excalibur/Albion, reason most people don't stay is it's hard to find groups at the low levels so it's all solo, some people just don't like this.

3. NO! This should NOT be a necro realm where everyone is PLed enchanters should not be used as slaves to PL all their mates, i hate PL and think it should be removed it removes all the point of leveling.
