Hibs can teach you an interesting lesson if you pay attention

Notice how fast the hibs took all the keeps? Kinda throws the enemy off guard if all the keeps are taken right out from their nose this quickly. Perhaps we should adopt this little strategy. IE: we send 1-2fg of people to each of the keeps that we're going to be taking, then storm them all at the same time, instant alert that something's going on, but it'd be a bit late to get prepared for defense.

1-2fg wandering around in frontier.

Maybe till mid January 1fg yes...after that I don't think so!

1 FG struggles with the insane aggro and will have hard job taking a keep. 2FG yes, but you need to be on the ball, and stay well clear of enemy keeps enroute. Less than 1 FG in enemy frontier= dead very quickly unless you stay stealthed.

A force large enough to take a relic nearly always gets tagged as soon as it comes through one of the mg's like it did tonight, tbh taking a relic prime time without 200 people like the Albs did is near impossible unless you get very very lucky.

next patch red - purp keep guards depending on lvl of keep means 1-2fgs going to struggle alot to take a keep , us servers guild hear

i think thats acctually patch 1.56 the one we get with Si in feburary. :p

Well, despite Hibs being overpowered, etc.. their int lvl's on the players are not so impressive.
Albs did the same approach last time, it just did not work so well for us. Some teams failed to take the assigned keeps :p
Also, you only need to take some key keeps to get rid of the uberguards that pop so annoyingly.
But it was fun to see those mid keeps drop so fast. Shame I ran into some overpowered hibs, who skillfully used their elite instant win button :( Yes, still bitter that GOA gave hibs the best CC class.

Its 1.57 we get with SI, unless they are cheap and bundle the patches together again before giving them us.

The Plan was to take all the keeps syncron with a Force waiting inside Arvakr. :D

But we have to work a bit on the Timing before we try it again. :)

I think you mean Mythic, GOA basically run the servers and charge your credit card. I normally save my elite instant win button for you, so does the rest of overpowered Hibernia, we take great pleasure out of fueling your bitterness.

What I seem to remember hibs doing (in Alb frontier that is) is to bash down the doors on some keeps leaving them wide open.

Then synchro wack the lords so keeps fall pretty fast. Not too bad a tactic when doing a /who pennine etc. gets you 3-5 matches :p

Too complicated, however, let's just ZERG! :)

just another person whinging bout insta this insta that...
i only use my instas as a last resort when i have ppl charging me, then alas it gets purged and i get clobbered yup looks like a darn win button to me.
you try walking round with a lute/drum that says kill me please :p

so the guards are red/purple...

there's no to-hit things on realm enemies.

Level 10 upgraded keep guards just do more damage/have more hp... like they kinda do at the moment :)

The nastiness next patch is the guild alerts when you kill guards and the patrols moving at mach 5.

Relic raids might become a bit more strategic than 'get there before the enemy hears about it' with 1.55... the corpse summoners mean a prolonged attack is possible... take keeps, upgrade them to level 10, attack the relic, transfer the corpses to one or two of your keeps, ress up - relic force is back - attack again.

mach 6 for guards. Also a red-purp enemy is a lot harder to block/parry/evade than a yellow or blue. :) And I think the no to-hit doesn't apply to NPCs, only other players. Relic guards ar damn tough now, keeps will have guards nearer that level of toughness and also relic keeps gets guards that are 10 levels higher than normal if the keep supplying them is level 10. :)

A healer is far far far scarier CC than a bard :)
insta aoe stun as well as insta aoe mezz :)

oh and castable versions of the above along with single target root should those two forms of CC not be enough...

pretty sure they're hittable for decent damage :) (unlike level 75 princes which a level 35 won't hit at all, or if they do - they'll hit for 1)

It would be pretty crap to make it so you could do something in RvR below level 50 to only turn around and make it impossible again....

It's quite a shock cruising through the frontier with speed 5 only to have a patrol overtake you. Their aggro is still a bit knackered tho. They still don't always attack :rolleyes:

their aggro range is based on upgrade level...

I think below level 3 the patrols don't aggro.
