trebuchet's are good, and have considerably longer range than gtaoe, yet are also bastards to lug around the frontier when you have at least 15 rams to take as well, along with ld's from lag etc... you technically COULD set up 6 of them outside the keep, but it'd take a while to do, during which time you could get zerged and lose everything.

add to that the fact that you can run out of ammo (which you have to take too), and the fact that you REALLY can't trust anyone to set up the trebs and actually know what they're doing (is it me? or does hardly anyone in our realm even know how to work a ram? let alone the other siege engines??), just isnt really worthwhile i think, they're ace for defending merchant keeps because everything's right there with you, including ammo, but all the way across the frontier at a relic keep it's a whole different story

would be nice though.

just think slay, how many people in our guild can do it? how many people have you met who've said anything other than "what's that???" when you talk about a trebuchet? how many trebuchet's have you seen in action? there's basically only a very small number of hibbies who've bothered learning how, personally i'd love it if everyone learned how to make and operate the siege equipment etc... but let's face it, it's not gonna happen
