3times in 1 day i have seen druids acuity buff themselves and fully buff theyre pet to leave a fg with 0 buffs and then ignore everything that ppl say about it...

it is only druids atm that ive seen mis-buff so there

Hibs still own everything anyway so who cares?

You have not seen true stupidity till you have seen hibs pulling keep guards by running into aggro range for no reason and getting themselves killed.

Also when we didnt have tk for some strange reasons I saw a fair amount of hibs camping hb for some insane reason and aggroing guards when all the action is centred at mb...

And as it seams like it this time 90% of hibs are Enchanters.

lol I moaned about something similar the other day in the cg.

I tell the story anyway:
Hibs all camping apk loads of us. As I die we get called to ck cos mids were 'trying' to attack or something. Anyhow half go half stay including a warden and a druid (stay that is) Im at this point the only Hib corpse lying there and in full view.

Both ignore me, Warden chases a stealther towards apk and dies, Druid buffs himself casts pet buffs pet then sends pet towards albs and runs away. (this was over a good few mins) Neither could be arsed to rez.

I have a druid myself and know that druid pets are fooking useless and a waste of mana specially when ppl need heals and buffs ffs.

Things will be different when my druid gets there I can tell ya!

Yes and that warden was me. Funnily enough I was out of power. Funnily enough I spend 95% of my time in bg1 with no power from rezzing idiots out of the goodness of my heart. I.e. melee types who will stand still within range of multiple enemy casters just staring at them, I mean WHAT THE HELL DOES THIS ACHIEVE? apart from planting me on my ass for another minute waiting for power after I rez/heal them.
So the mids are gathering outside their tk watching us and people are chickening out and running off. So the druid decides to cast a pet instead of a rez (along with not bothering to buff anyone either), aaarrrgghhh.
So I spot a yellow inf sneaking up on me so I de-stealth him and try and kill him. Standing around waiting to rez with inf(s) lurking is not a smart move. Silly me to think that whoevers still about of my group would actually help. So I died but I got the satisfaction of getting the inf killed too which is about as much satisfaction as a healing class in bg1 gets.

PS If you die solo/without a group resser in bg1 in a dangerous place you type / r e l e a s e NOT "oi rezzers ffs why didnt you rez me ffs" in the chat group.

k the warden fair enough, the fact was on the cg I didnt even mention u, it just added to me being pissed off at the Druid.

Going after infils is a good thing, if infil 90% of the time that kill me.

Standing in range of nme caster just staring lol, never seen anyone do that. Run in set pet on nme caster run back mebbe.

Oh and yes your primary job in BG will be rezzing/healing if u dont like that then Im curious to y u choose 1

and here's some foolish people thinking thidranki is where they can go to first discover rvr and what works best.... i'm sure they appreciate a horde of level 50s giving them abuse.

Dunno if it's just me or what, but as far as I know not everyone in the first BGs are ubarsubarr0x0r-players who already have a 50th lvl char. I sure know I wasn't when I first entered Thidranki.
Maybe it's funny to laugh at people who have just started the game or maybe just don't want to rezz/buff/heal/insert-random-thing-here. Dunno why I'm even posting this but feels kinda annoying when someone posts stuff like that.

ah i remember when i had Finley running round the bg. most of the time i was the only healer. as a level 20 friar this ment i spent a large amount of time sitting on my arse regenerating power from ressing oranges and reds. but it did give me one advantage.

being the only rezzer and needing power badly people always made sure i was grouped with a mincer for power song. the end result was that by level 24 i was on good terms with just about every mincer that was in thidr and even tho by that time there were normally 2 or 3 clerics and another friar or two running round i could almost always make sure i had two mincers in my group. a level 24 friar with a mincer for speed and a seperate mincer for mezz is in a great position

oh and i forgot to say.

you get Hibs in the bg now?

Well for a while i was the only healer/rezzer for hibs in BG1 last night and i can assure u it's not an easy job keeping about 12 to 15 hibs up and running.

I know it's my job to do it so u won't hear me complain or anything but u can't blame people for not healing or rezzing u in time when ur not in their group. I know i always try to heal/buff/rez people whenever i can but u can't imagine how often viable information is beeing left out when asking for a rez. I usually get a "can u rezz me" or "rezz me" from people while it would be nice to know 1) where they are and 2) if it's safe to go there.

Furtermore i must admit i did see some druids/wardens/bard in BG1 that stayed unbuffed themselves for a very long time, did not buff or heal others and preffered melee fighting and dieing instead. But i guess they still have to learn a lot from the BG's and their class so u can't really blame them imho. Best u can do is try to help them by saying what they should or shouldn't do in a friendly manner cause that will help them more then flaming them i think.

Look harder, you will see it every time theres any sort of equal number standoff at bridge or keep. No, this is not 'why arent you uber' this is basic common sense. If you have no ranged attack you dont stand around in range of enemies who do. I see it all the time from all realms in bg1. Play an archer and you can cap out quickly just farming people who are standing too close at standoff situations. This is not leet 50 uber knowledge that needs learning either, its common sense. Stand in a safe spot and shoot at whoever makes the mistake of coming too close. 20 odd levels of PvE should also give you some basic knowledge of how to play. RvR is just PvE vs intelligent mobs but as soon as everyone goes to bg all that knowledge just gets thrown out the window.

People getting killed from understandable new players mistakes is fine by me. People who want to just have fun in bg and not learn real RvR tactics is fine by me (as long as it doesnt affect my power bar on a regular basis). People trying to win the Darwinian Award for stupidity on a regular basis gets me frustrated. I will not res (even if I have a full power bar and are standing close enough) anyone who dies to a telekeep guard on principle. This has the added bonus (hopefully) of making them think twice before doing it again.

PS. I am not level 50 and I only have 40k rp. Ive made mistakes myself in the past but I have learned from them. You will never know what playing a healer in bg1 is like until you experience it for yourself.

hehe it's funny to read about the troubles of healers in bg1 ... my bard in bg1 was by far the greatest time ive had in daoc yet!! You have to res the occasional fool, but I see running into dangerous, stealther populated areas to res someone, as part of the job Gah I wish I could come back to bg1 with my bard now

You enjoyed the death-defying ress runs too? I used to love it when an enemy zerg chased us back to htk and camped there.

I'd send my bard on suicide runs to ress those who died on the road behind the zerg. Sure gave them a shock when they turned to run from our force at tk to find the grp they just killed alive, well and in need of revenge... Oh how I miss hibernia.

What amuses me the most is all the mana chanters when at BG levels a light chanter is about 10 times more proficient (of course this only applies if the char is built for BG only).

mana chanter can be gr8 fun, specially when u get left alone in the middle of an alb/mid zerg roll in the rps

oh and great for keep defence duty aswell

People that demand rezzes
People that demand buffs but do not group with you
People that die every 2 mins and STILL demand resses.
People that are not in your group (because they didn't want to group with you) yell at you for not healing them while they solo 4 zerkers.

It happens, so i can imagine why people at times think: "screw this, you go take a teleport"
