PS. The anti radar tools will seriously hurt Mids and Hibs. They have grown so used to it, improving their elite skills even more!

I gave up for a number of reasons. Firstly, radar detectors were coming which totally fucks up my game plan. Secondly, Hib no longer has GP as a unique RA. Thirdly, Albs are so much more skilled now that their classes are being balanced. Fourth, it makes sense to leave before NF, because Hibernia's obvious overpopulation is going to be weened to nothing soon as the rest of them realise the truth of 1, 2 and 3.

It has nothing to do with the fact that I was bored of daoc, bored of your constant whinging, tired of watching you dry your eyes everytime you died in a game, tired of listening to bullshit excuses when you lost.

Somewhere along the line the game was no longer fun, it was just an endless pit of tedious whinge bags complaining about pathetic bullshit.

I am truly glad to see how much you've all changed I will probably see most of you in WoW, I truly hope someone slaps the baby out of you before then.

I enjoy the game more and more for every day that goes. The reason why is because NF brings victory to the realm that can field the most numbers. that realm is and always will be Albion.

NF will make rvr very very interesting to Albion because they can suddenly port to keeps and join action fast. Whats worse is that due to this porting, Albs can move in bigger groups and here lies 1 essential problem. Hib and Mid gank groups or regular 8vs8 groups cannot take out Alb groups that easy anymore as in NF they will be moving in bigger force.

A lvl 10 keep in NF cannot be taken with 2 fg's. You're gonna need 1 FG of tanks for the rams, 1 FG of healing power to keep them alive from guards and 1 or 2 groups to cover your rear. Lets not mention roaming groups to hinder inc defenders.

Eh and believe me, I know. I played Albion/Merlin. After 2 weeks we had all relics and Midgard and Hibernia had 1 gank group each left. They even went on public strike and boycotted rvr for 2 weeks.

Ive read every single one of the hib leaving threads in the last few weeks and the general reasons were for rl objectives or been around too long and I need a break etc ...

I dont think that people are leaving cause of radar .. I think if I was a radar user and radar detection came in - I wouldnt stop playing and shelf it , I would still play on without the radar or mebbe just play a bit less. I dont know .. would people actually stop playing over that ? maybe a few but not the majority tbh .

Also I think most of it is still toa after effects with standard arguements being the prices of scrolls and the rarity of certain items like mad tales etc etc ...and you cant be seen as even half leet if ure template isnt capped and perfect .. Toa is not a game sadly .. Toa is work imo

I think a lot of the people that 'hung up their cloaks' will actually pop back in NF for a look at how things are etc and it wouldnt suprise me if a lot of them change their minds about quitting .. Ive rerolled 3 times .. From Hib to Alb to Mid and back home to hib again out of boredom from me and my m8s.. and now Im trying my hand at camlann more than excal ..I would class boredom and rl commitments as the main reason that people are leaving.

Ive stood in druim ligen and watched whats happening around me many times and I know there are faghats that think they are just so eleet that they prolly would quit over not being able to cover their whole template or use rader ( if they did ) etc but their numbers would be so little they wouldnt be noticed ..

Edit : I don't see how can a champ be more complicated than a defensive tank, for a close example as I got one.


Be at wrong spot- fluffy stuff dies, conc too much on fluffy stuff - support gets interrupted by pets way too much.
